The MINGDA MEXTRU 1300HT is a professional FGF — Fused Granule Fabrication additive manufacturing system designed specifically for large, material-intensive industrial parts.
Instead of conventional filament, MEXTRU feeds thermoplastic pellets into an industrial screw extrusion system capable of depositing material at rates up to 3 kilograms per hour.
The combination of a 1300 × 1200 × 1200 mm build volume, 400°C three-zone extrusion, 80°C heated chamber and 110°C build platform provides an industrial solution for molds, tooling, furniture, fixtures and full-scale prototypes.
Pellet extrusion allows dramatically greater material throughput than traditional filament extrusion when manufacturing oversized parts.
Deposit up to three kilograms of material per hour for fast manufacturing of very large components.
Produce many full-scale components in a single build without excessive bonding or assembly.
Controlled extrusion zones help maintain consistent pellet melting and reliable material delivery.
Large thermoplastic components can experience severe thermal contraction as they cool. Maintaining an elevated chamber temperature helps keep temperatures more consistent throughout the printed component.
At the heart of the MEXTRU 1300HT is an industrial screw extrusion toolhead specifically designed for pellet feedstock.
Separate heating zones provide controlled thermal management as pellets move through the extrusion system.
The MEXTRU platform is optimized around depositing large amounts of thermoplastic material efficiently.
High-volume pellet extrusion.
Three-zone thermal control.
Actively heated enclosure.
Industrial heated platform.
Pellet extrusion is especially useful when manufacturing components where part size, material quantity and throughput are more important than extremely fine layer resolution.
The 3 mm nozzle and high deposition rate make the MEXTRU well suited for large tooling, molds, fixtures and structural forms.
Screw extrusion can process substantially more thermoplastic per hour than typical filament systems.
Work directly with polymer granules instead of converting the raw material into filament first.
Pellet materials can provide attractive material economics for extremely material-intensive components.
MINGDA lists a broad range of thermoplastic pellet materials for the MEXTRU 1300HT.
Pellet material is supplied to the extrusion system using an integrated vacuum feeder.
Material handling is an important part of reliable long-duration pellet printing.
MINGDA's self-developed computing platform provides a responsive user interface and centralized control over the industrial system.
The MEXTRU 1300HT incorporates a large 15.6-inch color touchscreen.
Integrated machine vision provides additional monitoring during long builds.
Camera-assisted XY calibration supports accurate machine setup.
Automated probe calibration simplifies Z-offset preparation.
Automatic leveling improves first-layer consistency across the large platform.
Interrupted printing can resume after power is restored.
Integrated door-open detection adds another level of machine monitoring.
MINGDA supports multi-printer operation, allowing organizations to scale from a single MEXTRU system into a larger additive manufacturing environment.
Water cooling manages thermal loads around the extruder and heat break.
Remote air supply provides controlled model cooling.
Integrated filtration supports professional industrial environments.
Industrial servo motion provides controlled movement across the large build envelope.
Zoned heating helps manage the oversized build platform efficiently.
Protective bellows isolate mechanical systems from the heated environment.
